Even if it were pig-tailed - you would still need to deal with other circuits if you needed to break the noodle....

IMO - get used to it - you can't wire every building, especially the ones you haven't wired already previous to your birth - nor the ones after your (hopefully natural) death.... The MWBC was here before us all, and will be after we're gone. And since there are a good many buildings built prior to 08 - many of them by the same dope who wired the one you were at - so you will see this again.
 
LMAO...how true you are..you would think after 20+ yrs I would be over it..But I am not, in-fact with our age of information it still amazes me how many people do not take electricity seriously..

Well, I know it was in the 81 cycle (the oldest book I have on my computer desk right now) and it was the same article and section posted in post #11 ;)
