Except for dkidd's exception there is no reason not to use MWBC.

The office units I have wired hard wire to a power pole and came pre wired with three MWBC going to some of the plugs and one circuit with a dedicated neutral. That was before 2008 and the evil 210.4(B) though.

The circuit with separate neutral is often designated for computer use, because of harmonic concerns.

because it isn't an office. It's a boxing facility.
MWC have been used forever and still are. Your SE is a MWC. AFAIK, it is not limited in use by the type of location. To borrow a term, the ‘hand wringing’ of their use has come about in the last few years.

The CBs need to be common trip or equiped with approved handle ties. The conductors of the circuit, including the neutral, need to be grouped in some manner at certain points in wireways. Taped, tagged or cable tied.
