Peter and George; your point being? I did not ask a question nor asked for advice. Obviously, I wouldn't need to resort to either :cool: I was simply presenting an electrical horror story. Did either of you happen to do some "professional electrician" work in Arizona in the past? :eek:

Gee maybe if I hadn't forgotten so much, maybe I wouldn't have so much to learn yet. I've heard that the vision and hearing are one of the three things to go as we get older. I forget what the 3rd was.

George: I'm sorry if I come across as intellectually
superior but here are two kids I grew up with back in the old country, and we constantly challenged each others thought processes.

My three years of studying German ended over forty years ago. So I needed help in figuring this one out. I found an on-line translator that gave me the following translation:
Did we should go you allow to play George with us? He is white nothing about the NEC.

Despite having studied foreign languages for 11 years, I do not consider myself multi-lingual. Those 11 years were not the most recent 11 years of my life. So I may be wrong about this. But I think the on-line translator mistook the German word for "know" for the German word for "white."

So here is what I think g3guy intended to convey with his "parting comment":
Should we let George play with us? He knows nothing about the NEC.

Was that the intended message, g3guy? If so, then feel free to take your parting comment and depart. George has shown me enough evidence of his professional knowledge and experience that I would like him to continue participating in the Forum. And he has done so without any assertions (be they truthful or mere pretext) of intellectual superiority.

If we are going to post pictures of the people that we hang out with as a reference to our intellect I would like to post one that will show not only the intellect of my friends but will let everyone see what my girlfriend looks like.

Please don?t let my wife know about this picture of my girl friend because as Charlie has pointed out here that this might not be such a good idea.

I would like to also ask that no one be making any vulgar remarks about hear beauty either.
