Myers hub / grounding

I have installed underground 3/4" & 1" PVC coated gal. pipe and terminated them in a gutter. I utilized myers hubs to connect into the 3R gutter. Is this a adequate grounding or do I need to bond the gutter as well? I did pull a ground wire in all conduits and terminated them at the ground buss in the load center.

Excuse my ignorance, but why did you use myers hubs? I have seen them but never used one and I am not a rookie. What is the purpose of a myers hub?

As for your question, if you used grc and the myers hubs are listed for grounding than you are fine. You could bond the gutter if you wanted redundency but it is not necessary.

I am not sure why tom baker is asking for the voltage.

Most times the purpose is to provide a water tight seal of rigid conduit into a water tight enclosure, it also provides a stronger mechanical connection than lock nuts.

More threads are engaged on the conduit and the hub is a much larger diameter than the lock nuts.

That said you can get sealing lock nuts to make the entrance water tight and as these are underground runs terminating into a 3R trough they probably were not needed anyway.

I would think Tom is asking what voltage because of 250.97 Bonding for Over 250 Volts.

I only use meyers hubs when
entering from the top, from the bottom pvc go figure......
