It's probally not not broken, thats just the way those type of greenfield connectors look like, Being in a commercial restroom though , could be considered a damp or wet location. Somebody just threw in what they had on the truck.

I dont think they make a reducing coupling, it would be pretty harsh on insulation during a wirepull if you were going the wrong direction, kinda hard to push a fishtape through also.

No reducing couplings that I know of.
I do know the bell end of 3/4" PVC fits perfectly in a 1" PVC coupling. :grin:

Some inspectors just have to find something.....
Personally, I leave some covers off of 4sq. boxes. 2 seconds, yer passing inspection. Pix in OPs install would take too much time.
