The fitting,-as noted in post #2,- is this not a EMT to greenfield fitting?never seen one like this used with EMT,is this fitting compliant as used?If so I/ve learned another one...

That's why I asked... I didn't know specifically which post you were referring to. It helps to quote the post you are speaking about.

Well, here we are 46 responses into a thread, and when I read your post, I thought you were referring to my post #29 or masterinbama's post #30.

Please don't take this as an attempt to publicly humiliate you. That is far from my intentions. And this is not only for your benefit, but for everyone here. I just helps out a lot to specifically know which post you are referring to.
 
So to summarize the Bridgeport 282-DC fitting is listed for coupling 3/4" EMT to 3/4" FMC. The 1/2? EMT to 3/4" EMT transition is a creative violation.
