NEC 2008 and standby generator sizing

Can anyone suggest a program or book that can help me size a home standby generator while taking into account the 2008 NEC? Thanks to all who reply.:?

Take a look here. Generac has a calculator to properly size a generator based on what you want to connect to it. Keep in mind 702.5(B) if it applies.
