I understand AFCI are to be provided in location mentioned NEC 2014 Section 210.12 but does not specifically mention bathroom.

If someone wants to provide AFCI in bathroom then would it not be code compliance NEC 2014 version?
 
There is no NEC Section that I know of that prohibits AF protection on any residential circuit.
If one wishes to AF protect every circuit, go for it.
 
I agree with Gus. There must be a reason that they have not included the bathroom so we avoid using afci on bath circuits
