1). If I have an existing dwelling unit that has air-conditioning equipment and I want to add new loads that are not of Air-conditioning or
Electric space-heating, should I use NEC 220.83 (A) (Where Additional Air-Conditioning Equipment or Electric Space-Heating
Equipment Is Not to Be Installed).
2). Now, take a look at 220.83 (B) the table; ". . . Less than four separately controlled space-heating units = 100%.." Confirm
that if I have 4 or more that adds up to a load larger than that for the A.C units, should I apply 40% (Remainder of all other
loads)?
3). I am not seeing electric thermal storage in the table list for 220.83(B). If my total electric thermal storage loads are greater than that
for the A.C units, should I apply 40% (Remainder of all other loads) to it?:?
Thanks much
