NEC 240.87 and Generator Circuit Breaker

Pretty sure I know the answer, but does 240.87 ARC FLASH mitigation requirement for 1200A and greater circuit breakers also apply to breakers furnished with a generator? Have Generator suppliers started incorporated arc flash mitigation switches with their breakers?

Yes, unfortunately there are no exceptions. Manufacturers already know this and they have no excuse not to provide this feature.
