If you had a 3 phase circuit in the Same raceway (non metalic raceway and not useable as EGC) for a 30, 60 and 100 ampere OCPD circuit
You would be required to used to run atleast ONE EGC at 8 AWG copper NEC 250.122
However how would you terminate or bond this #8 EGC to your smaller 30 and 60 ampere cercuit device terminations that would not accept this large of an EGC?
IF you pigtailed a smaller wire to the larger 8AWG such as with wire nuts it would appear as a "tap" without upstream OCPD but not be a tap?
Or would there be any nec strtictions of transitioning / splicing a smaller EGC to a larger EGC as there are with ungrounded conductors, feeders and services?
