Rule 310.15 Exemption (5) (2) says that
Adjustment factors shall not apply to Type AC cable or to Type MC cable without an overall outer jacket under the following conditions:

Can someone explain what "without an overall outer jacket" means?

Sounds like when you strip the jacket off and choke and sleeve the wires down a pipe.

AC and MC cable is available with a PVC jacket. Used for parking deck and direct burial applicatiions
