It seems more proper if NEC said

Nonmetallic boxes and conduit bodies shall be suitable for the [LARGEST] temperature rated conductor entering the box or conduit body instead of "lowest"

Unless this has something to do with wiring having to be uniform within a conduit, such as same voltage or temperature rated insulation it would make more sense that a box can withstand the highest temperature it will be subject to rather than lowest?
