We are inspecting a pv inverter equiped with an entergral ac/dc disconnect which has been installed in an attic area. The main service panel is located outside, out of sight from the inverter. Does there need to be an a/c disconnect in sight of the inverter?

IMO the disconnect being integral to the equipment is no problem. The problem is does is meet 690.17? Mainly is it readily accessible?
