Hello everyone, I am hoping to get a bit of a description as to what a trade school course on NEC application of D/C and A/C theory should cover.

Thanks in Advance
Kevin

Not sure I understand what you are asking.

Code and theory are two different subjects in an educational program. They do intertwine some but theory is still there even when codes are not applied. Codes are there because of some of the things that theory dictates will happen that usually introduce hazards to life or property.

I'm glad it's not just me who is struggling to see the connection.

In Mass. the required electrical education, 237 CMR 22.01 list that as a topic to be covered.

I am trying to cross reference a CT course and I thought if I had a description, that it may help.

In the CMR's both D/C and A/C Theory courses are already listed, so the question course description I am looking for is definitely a code course.
