I just took a look in the oldest NEC code book that I have and 110.34 is in the 1987 NEC.

I looked in the 1978 NEC and 110-34 is in it. The 1978 NEC is the oldest code book that I have access to.

Does Article 110.34 apply to all doors in electrical rooms, regardless of size? Who is responsible for assuring that this installation is complete i.e electrical contractor? Are there any other codes that would apply, i.e Uniform Building Code, ADA?
