Does anyone know if NEC 346-11 code limiting no more than 360 degrees of conduit bends in a single run also applies to communication cables as it does to power conductors. Thanks

Someone else will address your code question, however, are you aware that datacom cable manufacturers specify that no more than 25 lbs force be applied when pulling most cables?

Re: NEC - Communication Cables - 360 degrees?

90.3 Code Arrangement.
This Code is divided into the introduction and nine chapters, as shown in Figure 90.3. Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4 apply generally; Chapters 5, 6, and 7 apply to special occupancies, special equipment, or other special conditions. These latter chapters supplement or modify the general rules. Chapters 1 through 4 apply except as amended by Chapters 5, 6, and 7 for the particular conditions.
Chapter 8 covers communications systems and is not subject to the requirements of Chapters 1 through 7 except where the requirements are specifically referenced in Chapter 8.

Unless Chapter 8 references a requirement else where there is no requirment.

800.6 references 300.4(D), which is for protection of cables.

BICSI standards are the best source for information. This is a performance issue, not NEC.
But typically no more than 180 deg and about 100 ft between pull points, no more than 25 lbs pulling tension.

See 800.48 for the code rule, but as others have said, the manufacturer's recommendations and other standards do not permit 360? of bend between pull points. One set of recommendations that I read said maximum of 270? and 90', deduct 30' for every 90, so you could have 0' with 3 90s.
