Is there a standard for the number of Romex cables that can be feed through a given size Romex clamp to enter a circuit breaker box?

Whatever the listing of the clamp says (generally 2, regardless of size).

I apprenticed back when, and out where, what limited the number of cables a connector could handle was the inside diameter of the throat and whether I could squeeze one more in. . .

The two screw metal clamp

was what I had to work with.

At some point, I learned that none of them were listed for more than one cable. That has changed somewhat. . .but the difficult thing for me was I was comfortable with the old way and didn't want to learn new tricks.
