Question is, if there is a 600 feet or more of conduit and cable run with 5 or more 90 degree bends, can there a splice in a can in lieu of a LB, can the conductors be spliced with UL approved compression connectors and cold shrink. Code ref please.
 
Al raceways have a limit of 360? of bends... #3xx.26. Beyond that, you need a pull box, conduit body, etc. to break it up.
 
You can make splices anywhere you want but in my opinion the fewer the better. All splices have to conform to 110.14(B)

From the 2008 NEC:

110.14(B) Splices. Conductors shall be spliced or joined with
splicing devices identified for the use or by brazing, welding,
or soldering with a fusible metal or alloy. Soldered
splices shall first be spliced or joined so as to be mechanically
and electrically secure without solder and then be
soldered. All splices and joints and the free ends of conductors
shall be covered with an insulation equivalent to that of
the conductors or with an insulating device identified for
the purpose.
Wire connectors or splicing means installed on conductors
for direct burial shall be listed for such use.
 
You can splice in lieu of an LB, but an LB will accomplish the same thing.

Are you asking if the splice can be pulled/made IN the conduit?

Khalid, I assume you are asking if there are more than 4 90 degree bends, since the NEC only allows 360 degrees, is an LB or a pull box allowed. Yes, you do not need to splice in the pull box you can loop the wire thru or you could use an LB.

Here is a NEC art. on emt. I believe it is the same for all rigid piping.

358.26 Bends ? Number in One Run.
There shall not be more than the equivalent of four quarter bends (360 degrees total) between pull points, for example, conduit bodies and boxes.
