Need a little help, identifying code violations

I’m not sure, the system starts at 277 V at some point it drops to 24 V (LED)but I’m not sure if the push button is 277 or 24

Looks like the test button off the emergency ballast. I’ve never installed one outside of the fixture itself, but I would have to say that it’s got line voltage going to it and the red is your battery disconnect. With that said, I believe it would have to be put into a junction box, perhaps with some bushings and chase nipples for the conductors going into the room through the tile.

The few times I've used those it was a fluorescent and I always terminated the flex in the fixture above the ballast cover with the indicator light and the button mounted in the ballast cover. The button was line voltage
The lamp is visible thru the diffuser and the button accessiblw by dropping the diffuser if necessary.
