Just because the t-bar guy passes inspection doesn't mean he can start setting ceiling tiles. He has to wait until everyone who is working above the ceiling passes inspection.

Yup...my payments are structered towards my work passing inspections ~ NOT anyone else's.

Around here they do the same. If the heating contractor wires his thermostat wire to an outdoor unit without sleeving it in carflex or something to protect it, then the electrical final will be held up because it falls under the electrical code not HVAC.

Do you have to protect it?

Around here it is common practice to Tie-wrap it to the Carflex going to the A/C Unit.
