Thanks I will look.

Specifically, have you ever heard of 225.30(E) being allowed in a resi app?

(E) Documented Switching Procedures. Additional feeders
or branch circuits shall be permitted to supply installations
under single management where documented safe
switching procedures are established and maintained for
disconnection.

Would qualified personal be a factor?

...
Not unless location (225.32 Ex 1) was an issue. I can't find anything in Art 225 that restricts Part II to industrial. I've used both 225.30(E) & 225.32 Ex 1 plenty of times in refinery work - I never thought of a "non-industrial" application.

225.32 Ex1 specifically names "qualified individuals", which implies commercial or industrial, or so I infer it does.

Hence my question: Is a residential application of this section reasonable?

Not in my opinion, yet I cannot back it up.:ashamed1:

As I said, a non-industrial application never even dawned on me. Well - now you have a potential Proposal for 2014 - and hurry, you only have until this November 4th. ;)
