Need Journeyman License in Texas

I was planning on taking my journeyman this march but I saw some comments that you have to have worked under a master electrician supervision and there are no master electricians where I have work. Really need to earn that journeyman pay. It sucks any recommendations Thank you

You must prove 8,000 hours on the job training under the supervision of a master. There are a few ways to do this as explained here.
You must now prove these hours and complete the application process before being approved to take the exam. If you have no experience under qualified supervision and no formal training or education, why would you think you are qualified to perform electrical work as a journeyman? Just being honest.
