Need Some Help, Web Site Name

If serching for a site name - just do a "whois" search - it will tell you who the site isd owned by - if anyone. If for sale, if registered, who, where, when, if active, the DNS, etc...

IMO this paranoia of searching a name and it gets stolen is just that, not that it can't happen...

But seaching a name can tell you when it may become available again, so you can check it again. Although a certain company has has a name I want - I know when to see if I can snatch it. But I think they will be right on top of re-registering it.....

The official name of my company is RK Electrical Contractors or RK Electric for the short version.
rkelectric.com & rkelectric.net are already taken.
I need to keep the name short, sweet & simple, but also describes what I do, so it is easy to give customers over the phone or in person, my web address.
I was told by a couple of wise internet people to make sure I have a .com in the name, for search engines.
Any and all suggestions is appreciated.

i registered a domain a few years ago, mainly to have a parking place for
my email account. not a web site there.

a user id i've had since the early 1990's is FulThrotl.

so, www.fulthrotl.com was born. not rocket science on my part.
and not that bright, either.

do you know what a pita it is to try to get someone over the phone
to CORRECTLY get akirra@fulthrotl.com written down? don't ask.

simple is better.

would be cool, but won't resolve for the DNS, i don't believe.

I know two guys named John Goodman, by the way.

Goodman is a relatively common surname here.

I suppose we all come across some odd names that stick in the mind.
