Re: NEMA 3R In Elevator Equip. Rm.

If my elevator requires a 150A time delay disconnect, and I am supplying one in the elevator machine room, do i need to upsize the Shunt trip breaker at the main panel to more than 150A?
Another quick question, do I require to specify the 150 Shunt Trip breaker to be an Inverse/Time Delay breaker so the inrush current of 600A dosn't trip the 150A? or are all circuit breakers Inverse/Time delay circuit breakers?
Thanks a lot.

Tom I would be glad to install that system, but right now the only preaction systems we install are for Data rooms and paper file storage rooms, first release inergen(SP) and if that fails then the water is brought in.

Gotta keep the computers and papers dry.

Right now human life's are worth less then information.
