I work for a Utility that is using the old NESC that states 4 cal for voltages under a 1000volts Im trying to get the safety comm to change our safety manual to include 480 volt meter can to a 20 cal rating and use a cat 4 digitial meter. What are other utilities doing about the hazards associated with the 480 volt arc flash hazards?
