In substations where there is a big step potential problem more than one ground rod is installed depending on the resistivity of the soil.


This applies to the rest of us let us discuss this objectively.

Once again, you bring a substation into the equation, until you tell us what your questions pertain to (600 volt systems or HV substations) the discussion makes no sense and is only going in circles.
