In a residential panel that is not a sub panel, is it a code requirement to terminate, in separate holes on a common neutral/ground bar, the neutral and the ground conductors from a single home run ?

If it is, what is the NEC section indicating this ?

Thanks
Tom

Read 408.40 and 408.41 for your answer.

Is it permissable to place two of the bare ground conductors in the same hole on the ground if there are not enough holes in the ground bar, and it is permitted by the panel manfacturer ?

Thanks Again

Tom, yes it is, but be sure that two wires under one screw on the bar is in the manufacturers listing information.

The former is dependent on the latter.
