Yes but the resistance of those would be tremendous and cause a lot of crap once line to line is unbalanced—- around here we don’t have copper water or gas just phone and gec would be it—- so I can see it working if you have what we don’t have—

I feel bad for the EC- even if it’s his fault or not he going to get shafted lol
 
If all they were having were "issues" for four years, the neutral current had to be going someplace or the lug was making intermittent contact with the bus, the loads were pretty much balanced and 100 to 250V power supplies didn't care.

A couple years and I was told the list of things that had failed. Enough that someone should have figured it out
