W wellin New member Apr 29, 2009 #1 We are installing a 208V 3Phase sub-panel fed from and existing 208V 3Phase panel. There will be only 3Phase loads on the sub-panel. Are we required by the NEC to run a neutral to the sup-panel?

There is no NEC requirement that you must bring a neutral conductor to a remote panel board if there is no line to neutral loads at the panelboard. The NEC only requires that a grounded (neutral) conductor be brought to a service. Chris
