i hold the a 120vac hot that comes from breaker #1 in my teeth, then all of a sudden another 120vac hot shows up from breaker #3 (same pole), and i grab the 2nd one between my toes, but nothing happens even though that 2nd hot has plenty of potential. 120vac(rms)60Hz to be exact.
its a differential that is required to harm, but that alone is not good enough, its amps that kill hmy:.

why is it splitting hairs. 8bit gray scale for wire colors is splitting hairs, "get me that gray wire", "what color gray do you want?", "i need the 01100110 colored wire", "you brought me 01100010 colored wire, go back and get 01100110 colored wire", that's splitting hairs hmy:

20kv high capacity (ah) charge, and you are at ~1v, good chances you are dead w/o even creating a complete ckt.

bird can also die just from landing on the one 20kv wire. if the bird is not at 20kv when touching the wire the bird-to-wire potential diff will create a small current. the bird is a small cap at that point.

Did not watch the video yet, but in the initial image in the post it has a title stating it is a 765,000 volt line, that is just a little more then 20kV.

69 and 115kV transmission lines are pretty common around here and an occasional 345kV line. Never notice any dead birds around any of them. Seen birds on the 69 kV lines quite often, not so much on the higher voltages though - maybe they feel something before they ever get close and just stay away? It would be capacitive in nature if they do sense something.

how about just a E or B field they sense? i suspect E field though. or have learned over the years, 750kV just not warm enough, or when they land they die ?

Millions of birds sit on overhead 20kV lines and if you were correct there would be carcasses everywhere.

Also, 765kV is a different beast than 20kV, and you have to consider that the man is sitting in a giant aluminum aircraft that also has to be raised to 765kV. The wand and suit are to direct the charge around him - personal Faraday cage.
