If you have a set of prints for a house and the actual house is "mirrored" from the prints, how is the best way to read the prints the way the house actually sits?

Is there a way other than ordering a set of mirrored prints?

Do you have a .PDF file? I believe there is a "flip" function in the PDF reader. You can then save them and print them flipped. You could also take a picture of the physical plan, download to your computer, load into paint and flip that way.

The problem many of us have with flipping and reprinting is we don't have a printer that will print on those large sheets of paper, or a scanner large enough to scan that large of a print.

Mirror image still has reversed text, in particular dimensions that may be important to you.

Tell the architect or the gc to get you a new set, we are electricians not magicians.

All of the large office supply stores (Staples, Office depot, OfficeMax, etc.) that have copy centers have the ability to print a PDF file from a thumb drive onto large format paper.

About 40 mile drive for me, but for those in north central NE, more like 150 mile drive to one of those stores.

My wife keeps telling me she wants to live at least an hour away from everything. I tell her I have be within 10 minutes of everything. So far I'm winning. ;)

if you have a good cellphone, the camera is high enough quality to make
a good scan of the drawings.

you can then flip them, and print them.

if you can get a PDF... (you can) then flip it and print it.

or do what the rest of us do. tape it up to the window backwards and swear....

The scale will not be accurate. I have not had to deal with this issue one time in my career and I am thankful for that

10-4 on that one, and if you want to bring such a thing into a CAD program it is unlikely that any of the corners in the image will be square or that the paper when the photo was taken was lying absolutely flat. I, unfortunately, have had to deal with photos of building plans more than once.
