I'm wondering if anybody has tried out these? https://www.kuikbox.com/ Sounds fantastic! I heard about it recently and it looks like a much needed overhaul of the typical cluttered muliple outlet layout, with a lot more wiring space . I haven't checked out the pricing yet, but am told its cheaper than typical steel boxes.

I've made something similar by cutting out receptacle patterns from 14ga steel with the CNC laser at work. I made covers for 4" sq. NEMA1 raceway. Worked a treat.

Nothing like finding out something many of us have been doing for decades debutes as some 'new item' ......~RJ~

Interesting product. I don't have any applications for it, but I can see some environments would.

I don't believe the assembly time they gave. 17 minutes seems way too little for the Kuikbox. And 2.5 hours seems a too much for the "traditional" assembly. The traditional assembly electrician seemed to be performing in a purposely incompetent manner.

I love that it has lots of wire space.

I'm wondering if you could take a traditional trough and cut out square holes slightly smaller than the raised cover to fabricate a similar product. I'd have to compare the labor costs and product costs.

HMM first time I've seen anything like this on the market.:?
I've seen people do it in somewhat similar ways with CNC laser, but the key difference is this product is UL listed, this has become a mandatory requirement for all electrical wireways, enclosures etc.. in our State.. Inspectors used to pass "quality made" custom enclosures despite NEC violation, not anymore.
