Siemens is developing a new 2-pole AFCI combination device. It is not available yet.

It will have functions that are pretty cool...and a price tag to go along with those new cool features. I heard the guestimate price is about $120.

It has a significant number of new features that may make it worth the price for some.

I had discussed the topic of 2-pole combination types with the manufacturers last year..."no, we have no plans to build them".
Well it looks like Siemens may have trumped them.

Siemens has been very active lately in the trade mags and IAEI. Last year they had a CD mailed in EC magazine on AFCIs. Their combo breaker has LEDs for troubleshooting.

If so, that leaves QO and CH to fend for themselves.
