Looking at the installation of a new 3 gang meter disconnect for an underground service to a multi unit building that the exterior of structure that is not optimal for mounting the M/D directly to building so looking to build it on a pedestal using pipe and strut. Existing meters are currently in basement and service very undersized.
What would you consider the minimum pipe diameter for the pedestal posts?
Only criteria from POCO is related to using wood members at a 6x6 nominal size, no reference to use of steel members.

Last week I looked into finding your POCO design guide for contractor's based on another post. I never found it!

I don't think they would complain if you cleared working with 2" Galv and SS strut. Besides what are you going to use
for the cross members on 6X 6's ? :)

Besides it not going to be that small of a build?
