I plan on installing an above ground pool this spring and had a few questions on the electrical hookup. The pump will be about 90-100’ from my main service panel. I’m gonna run UF-B out to it. It’s a 2hp swim pro pump that will be on a dedicated gfci circuit with only the pump receptacle and one other pool receptacle. Think I will need to go with 10/2 or will 12/2 work for that long of a distance. 10/2 gets crowded real quick in those boxes. Also can the UF-B come out of the conduit and go directly to the receptacle or does there have to be a junction box and then to the receptacle? I have 60 amp sub panel in my garage that’s only 30 ft away but I’m putting in a heat pump as well and that needs a 60 amp breaker alone so I’m thinking I might as well run both back to the main service. Thanks in advance appreciate it.
