Hi just want to make sure this is ok. A customer has an existing meter/circuit breaker 150 amp 120/240 3-wire service on a utility pole 150' away from the dwelling, customer has a new shop 150' away in opposite direction and wants a 100 amp service. I want to add a j-box under the 150 amp breaker and tap on to these conductors with 3/0 AU USE for the new shop where I will have a 100 amp Mian breaker panel 3-wire (reduced nuetral 70% of 150 amps) and a Grounding electrode(s) at the new shop. No known Mettalic paths between structures.
Is this OK or should I have separate breakers at the utility pole?
