I’m planning on running 3-#2 copper thhn/thwn and 1-# 8 cu thhn/thwn cu wires inside lfmc to a remote distribution panel.

According to 310.16 in the 60 def column 2 is good for 95 amps

240.6 only had a 90 and a 100 as standard sizes
Because of this and my load being very small I should be fine to fuse #2copper on a 100a circuit breaker ?

Also why are you using flex instead of pvc?
Planned on outing the new service on opposite side of pole. I work alone and it’s for a fueling station so they don’t want to be down for long…

It's been argued here that you do but the thread title is Next Size Up Rule. Even at 60° C #2 THWN is rated at 95 amps. Next size up 100 amps.
That’s why I was questioning it because of the previous discussion about the rating of flex in a wet environment
