Can someone provide clarification on the monthly and annualcode requirements for emergency lighting circuited to a generator. We testour battery powered exit signs and flood lights per NFPA 101 7.9.2, and wemaintain our generators per mfg recommendations and NFPA 110, however I can?tfind a code that speaks to emergency lights circuited to the generator.

Assuming the generator is installed, maintained andinspected per NFPA 110:
1) Isthere a monthly inspection / testing requirement for emergency lights (nonbattery powered) designed to run 100% on normal power, but also stay on whenthe generator kicks on in event of power loss.
2) Isthere a annual inspection / testing requirement for the same emergency lightsabove?
