I need a gasket for a PVC conduit male terminal adapter to meter box connection.
Duct seal is not working well in this location (and it looks ugly).
I've got some nitrile rubber gasket material from an old project.
Is it permissible to make a gasket out of this?
I did notice that neoprene is often used for a gasket material for conduit bodies so I thought I'd ask before using the nitrile.
I found this on the web "Nitrile rubber does not conduct electricity. In fact, it has strong electrical resistance, and as an insulator, electricity cannot easily pass through it."
