Anyone know which fire alarm book to use in April?
The information I got from the board was the test will be on the 2011 NEC, also was led to believe it will be the NFPA 72 2010 fire alarm and signaling code book.
Prometric told me the April test will use the 2008 NEC and 2002 NFPA 72.
A guy at work told me its going to be on the 2011 NEC, 2007 NFPA
Does anyone have a definite answer on this?
I'm self studying now with 2011NEC, NJ Ref. manual 8th edition(for bus law)
I have an NFPA 72 2010 book but in the preface it says it includes the 2007 code re-organized with new info in added chapters so i think using this might be pointless if the test is using 2007 book.
Also on the NEC2011 code this is the only self study guide I have found that is out right now in case you guys are interested:
