NM Cable

Can anyone tell me a section in the code that tells me how many nm cables allowed in bored holes.I limit the number to 3.Any ideas,thanks.

It is not addressed. The only thing that is close is the required ampacity adjustment of the conductors if they are bundled longer than 24". See 310.15(B)(2)(a).

There would be a practical limit based on the width of the member and the need to maintain the required spacing from the edge.

I understand that San Francisco has limited it to ONE! I suppose they want swiss cheese lumber there.
