NM Cable

Hi at all,

I have a question about NM cable in a room of a hotel. I explain. I am spanish and in Spain we have the conductors within a PVC tube encase builds in the wall with plaster. In USA, someone said me that it?s usual the NM calbe, but I dont know if I can use the NM cable directly in wall with plaster. I read the section 334 and I am confusing. ?do I need some kind of conduit for protecting the cable?.

Ok, thanks. Then I can?t use this cable directly. But, what kind of conduit need for protecting this cable or what can I use?.
