There isn't an exception.

Right because all thats required is that the manufacturer provide the labeling, there is no requirement that I have to leave it there. :smile:

Picture a cable job with all panels flush mounted and all cables concealed inside walls and ceilings.

How does the inspector see the labeling .... they can't and its not required.

(Same project)We also had to install an underground splice to replace this violation. If you look to the left of the box, this is the pipe they used for the NM-B. I removed the NM-b in conduit before I took this picture--decided to take pictures at the last minute. Aslo, I had to break open the back of the box to gain access. In addition, the box was filled with chaulk--which you can't see in this pic.
