I'm being upgrading Main Residential panels, to set the romex in the box I used 2 inches 2screw conectors and stub all of those following the rule the 24inches and less of a conduit is considered as a nepple, if I do in surface panel I use 2 crew connector plus rigid couplings and chase nepple, is any code violation on that, i can't find on the NEC.
 
IMO would look like a hack job by a diy.

Will be interesting to hear what the code experts interpretation is.
 
Two things come to mind and without code reference as I don't have the time right now.
Each cable must have it's own entry, there is an exception but I don't think the OP's situation would meet that
The connectors used are not rated/listed for that may cables.
