Do they make wooden ones?

Matter of fact, they do... sort of. Here at any hardware or wholesale house you can purchase a redwood ring that fits perfectly around a nm pancake box. The ring is the same outer diameter as that plastic one in the link I gave earlier. We do use the wood ones on cedar siding jobs alot. They ain't cheap though. It has a Hawaii 5-0 listing...
