Steady State refers to one theory about the construction of the universe. The steady-state theory holds that the universe looks, on the whole, the same at all times and places.

me . . . why? R U in school? Time and frequency are reciprocals. No change (no delta) is steady, domain is where and state isn?t Florida
 
Why do I get so curious when I see a post started by rattus called 'No Brainer'.

Is this going to turn out to be a 700 post thread? :D
 
My Steady State memory is a distinct function of the length of the Time Domain involved and the Frequency I have accessed that Domain.

I don't think we will get off easy, we are going to need references (the more the better, hopefully some that conflict with each other), quotes from the best minds this forum has to offer, real engineers, people who have been doing stuff practically forever,...:grin:
 
I have a go from off the top of my head:
Time domain analysis: An analysis where things are time dependent.

Frequency domain analysis: An analysis where things are frequency dependent.

Steady state: When whatever is being studied is no longer changing or is repetitive.
