No GFCI requirement in a commercial Kitchen on a dedicated single outlet?

Where is the code reference for this? I have the same issue of a dishwasher continually tripping the GFCI. Eco labs, the mfc, insists the dishwasher cannot work with a GFCI. But dishwasher is within 6’ of a sink...
Read through 210.8 and find what applies to you.

Only dishwasher that requires GFCI in a commercial kitchen would be one that is cord and plug connected, direct wired it would not be required.

422.5(A)(7) requires all dishwashers to be GFCI protected regardless of how they are connected. [2020 NEC].
If you have current flowing on the ECG of any new dishwasher when it running (but not when its off) an element is likely bad.
