Ok maybe its a probe or a pinto or whatever. The point I was making is that I`ve seen people that can`t afford furniture for the $400,000.00 home they live in,but they still try and be what they are not.I laugh to myself when I go into these homes and see a beat up futon and a $2,000.00 plasma tv on the wall.Or a bed that has no frame in a huge master bedroom. But it`s in a huge beautiful home.People amaze me when they try to be what they are not. Most can`t even pay the taxes or association fees they have and recently I`ve seen alot of auction signs up.But the building is on an upsweep. There are scores of new subdivisions coming out of the ground all around here. What befudles me is where is the $$$ coming from to buy these homes. There is no infrastructure here to support this.Aside from construction, medical and some retail sales there`s nothing. The average home in a sub division starts at $180,000.00 and many exceed $1,000,000.00 depending on where you go.The housing market has gotten out of the average persons reach.I bought 3 1/2 acres 13 years ago for $8,000.00/ acre. Now next to me is 5 acres @$80,000.00/ acre.I read an article where a guy has 17 acres not far from me he`s been there 15 years and his taxes are now $31,000.00/year !!!!!I`m waiting for the bottom to fall out soon. When the average person makes $35,000.00/ year how can they afford to live.Florida is a right to work state so unions have no power for the most part.Imigrant labor has taken most of the menial task jobs out of the average persons reach. There is no industry here so where is the $$$ coming from ????
