Can anyone recommend an underground splice kit for #12AWG--where no torch is required?

No, not for a permanent repair. If it's a patch job until I can schedule trenching or whatever, I don't waste a splice kit. My way is legal, though.peter d said:Now you have my attention....you really do it that way?

Funny thing, I used this exact stuff just today to fix some #12 UF that met an excavator. Worked quite well, I'd definitely recommend 3M cold-shrink.
